Description
The Foscarin vineyard is situated in the northern part of the Soave region and is characterised by volcanic soils. This is what makes this unique white wine so mineral, complex yet elegant.
90 per cent Garganeca and 10 per cent Trebbiano di Soave grapes are rigorously selected, harvested by hand, and then aged in used barriques. This results in a wonderful, very fine white wine.
Dry, with an intense aroma of ripe stone fruit, a hint of honey and wildflowers. On the palate, it is very juicy, full-bodied and captivating. It immediately commands attention and delights with its dark minerality. Notes of dried fruit and a hint of vanilla linger for a long time. Wonderfully balanced!
A truly lovely wine for comparatively little money. Pairs well with fish, vegetables or soft cheeses. Or simply on its own to broaden your horizons.
