Podere Paradisino Le Crete Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2022 DOCG, 0,75 L

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is one of the most traditional Sangiovese origins in Tuscany, and many of the most exciting wines from this appellation show an elegance that can clearly hold its own stylistically alongside Brunello and Chianti Classico. Le Crete 2022 is a fine example of how precise and complex Sangiovese from Montepulciano can be.

It is produced from the Prugnolo Gentile clone and is traditionally matured for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. In the glass, the colour is a medium dense ruby red with a gentle lightening towards the rim. The wine already shows its class on the nose: red berries, some cherry, a hint of vanilla and a delicate herbal spice, a very typical and inviting interplay of aromas that immediately arouses curiosity.

On the palate, the wine is clearly structured, lively and precise. The vibrant acidity brings freshness and tension, while the red fruit remains juicy. The tannins are present, ripe and well integrated, giving the wine both finesse and depth. The long red berry finish emphasises the quality and shows that there is further ageing potential.

A Vino Nobile with a strong character that perfectly reflects its origins and at the same time offers great pleasure. It is particularly suitable with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised dishes, pasta with meat or mature cheese.
