Rosso di Montepulciano. Quite honestly, that already sounds like a glass of pleasure. As the little brother of the Vino Nobile, it shows a cool and elegant style that is rather special in Tuscany. This style makes the wine an excellent way to discover a lot of authentic Sangiovese for a very fair price.

The colour in the glass is an intense red with violet hues. The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries and fine spices, accompanied by a very subtle woody note. The bouquet is complex yet remains clear and has a pleasant cool touch that is immediately appealing.

On the palate, the wine is balanced and fruity. Ripe cherry and wild berries take centre stage, supported by fresh, lively acidity and soft, harmonious tannins. The structure is juicy and clear, and the finish is surprisingly long, once again showing the spicy, red fruity character of the wine. With a little air, it gains additional depth and expression.

A versatile Rosso that shines in everyday moments as well as with savoury dishes. It pairs particularly well with pasta, bolognese, pizza or braised beef. Ideal for exploring the region and the style of Montepulciano in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
