Description
Erich Polz Jr. demonstrates with his new Extraherb sparkling wine line how elegant and refined Austrian sparkling wine can be, even with minimal dosage and residual sugar. Very refreshing, very lively, very delicate!
This rosé sparkling wine, classified as a reserve, was bottle-fermented for over three years and crafted from Pinot Noir and Zweigelt. The grapes were hand-harvested from various sites in southern Styria to capture extra freshness in the bottle.
Delicate salmon-pink in colour, it offers fine fruity aromas of wild berries and redcurrants, complemented by a hint of lavender. Exceptionally delicate on the palate, with a vibrant perlage. Extra dry, containing only 2 g of dosage. Clear and precise, with a lively acidity structure. It impresses with finesse and freshness, finishing long with notes of berries.
A sparkling wine that enhances every celebration, whether enjoyed on its own or as an elegant companion to salmon, sushi, or seafood.
