Description
This is what a good Riesling from the Kremstal should taste like! We were immediately impressed by this white wine in the reserve category when we tasted it.
The best organic grapes, mainly from the Weinzierlberg in Krems, are harvested by hand, carefully sorted and matured in steel tanks. The wine then rests on the fine lees for about 9 months and is now at its best.
It shows a bright yellow-green in the glass, very clear. Dry, juicy and very inviting on the nose and palate. Mint, lime and ripe peach flavours dance in the mouth and finish with a mineral touch. Firm with delicate fruit and citrus notes. A slightly salty and fresh finish that makes you lick your tongue.
It can certainly mature until 2030 and beyond, but who wants to wait? A lovely companion for fish, Asian dishes, or simply to enjoy life on its own.
