But don’t be fooled! Despite its smoothness, this wine is anything but light. With a hefty 14.5% alcohol, it packs serious power. Yet, the balance between tannins, fruit, acidity, and oak is impeccable, making it incredibly easy to drink. A blend of 85% aged in French oak and 15% in American barriques gives it an extra layer of vanilla warmth.

In the glass, it’s deep and dark, almost opaque, with striking ruby-red reflections. The nose bursts with sour cherry, vanilla, and rich roasted aromas. On the palate, expect firm but beautifully ripe tannins, red berries, sour cherry, and cherry, along with notes of coffee and cocoa. A bright, fresh acidity keeps it lively, leading to a long, fiery finish – truly refined!
