The Achleiten vineyard is a legendary site in the village of Weißenkirchen, featuring drystone walls dating back to the 12th century.

Equally impressive is the Grüner Veltliner that grows there. Only the very best grapes are harvested for this wine at the end of October, following a rigorous selection process. After several months’ ageing in stainless-steel tanks and large wooden barrels, the wine slowly begins to reach drinking maturity, though it will certainly continue to develop its full potential over the next 10–15 years.

Rightly highly acclaimed by leading wine critics. An intense aroma of vineyard peaches with fresh herbs. On the palate, a slightly smoky minerality with a hint of exotic notes. Perfect balance of fresh acidity with immense, elegant depth. With every sip, you can sense the high quality right through to the long, pleasant finish.

Pairs wonderfully with Asian cuisine, pigeon or even spicy cheeses. However, we prefer to drink this wine on its own at the weekend, simply to enjoy life.
