With his Rosé by Nature 2024, Gerhard Pittnauer offers a sensory and visual contrast to the typical light and bright rosés.
This natural wine is bottled unfiltered and with minimal sulphur, surprising with its remarkable depth and character—a world apart from many conventional rosés. In Italy, such wines are known as "un rosso leggero"—a light red that has long been beloved there.
The aroma reveals vibrant notes of pomegranate, wild berries, and citrus, accented by a subtle, spicy nuance. On the palate, it is juicy, elegant, and simultaneously powerful, finishing with a fruity, clear, and beautifully balanced expression.
An excellent companion to spicy dishes, especially those from Arabic or Indian cuisine.
