A Sauvignon Blanc from Rust on Lake Neusiedl that quickly captivates with its charming character and exotic notes.
Hand-harvested and matured traditionally in stainless steel tanks, this dry white wine demonstrates that the grape variety need not be defined solely by its acidity. This medium-bodied wine is distinctly on the fruity side. The nose is dominated by elderflower, gooseberries and paprika. On the palate, it is dry with a delicate fruit sweetness. Every sip is reminiscent of a tropical orchard. Juicy and smooth on the palate, with a decidedly long finish. A real charmer that takes its time and is sure to win many friends.
It pairs wonderfully with Asian starters, salads or soft cheeses. Or simply whilst you wait for next summer to arrive.
