A Weinviertel DAC Reserve is always a Grüner Veltliner, released to the market no earlier than September following the harvest.
This outstanding example from the Hochlüssen vineyard was matured for over eight months in large wooden barrels and now reveals its full character. It presents a clear, medium golden yellow in the glass. On the nose and palate, notes of yellow apple, tropical fruit, and a hint of fine tobacco unfold. Dry in style, it offers juicy white fruit and ripe yellow pear, supported by fresh acidity and subtle minerality. The finish is long, slightly spicy, and refined. A white wine that enthusiasts eagerly seek, earning it the fitting name “Green Hunter.”
A versatile food companion, it pairs especially well with traditional home cooking, baked meats, and roasted vegetables.
