Description
A Weinviertel DAC Reserve is always a Grüner Veltliner that is released no earlier than September following the harvest.
This beautiful example from the Hochlüssen vineyard was matured for a full eight months in large wooden barrels and now reveals its full potential. The colour is clear and medium golden yellow. On the nose and palate, it shows yellow apples, tropical fruit, and delicate notes of tobacco. Dry in style, with juicy white fruit and yellow pear. Fresh acidity and fine minerality lead into a long, slightly spicy finish. A white wine that people enjoy seeking out and that therefore rightly bears the name “Green Hunter.”
A very good and versatile food companion, especially with home cooking or baked meat and vegetables.
