Despite its high quality, the 2025 Leithakalk Chardonnay from the Leitha Mountains is merely an introduction to Kollwentz’s world of white wines. Matured in large Austrian oak barrels, the wine is a quintessential expression of the region. The grape variety thrives in limestone soils, which is evident in this full-bodied, elegant wine with delicate spice on the palate.

Dry, spicy aromas of yellow fruits. A fine, smooth, beautiful wine – uncomplicated yet sophisticated – with a long-lingering finish; it is still quite young but has great ageing potential.

A harmonious accompaniment to food, particularly with white meat, pasta or even fish – a true all-rounder!
