The nose is immediately generous, with fully ripe fruit, intense cassis notes and an impressive density that instantly builds anticipation for the first sip. The subtle use of wood supports the interplay of flavours beautifully, adding structure and depth without overshadowing the freshness. On the palate, the wine is powerful and multi-layered, with a creamy texture and striking juiciness. This is a wine you almost want to bite into. The term drinking animating fits perfectly here.

Despite its power, the wine remains wonderfully balanced. The fruit stays clearly in the foreground, while the wood is elegantly restrained, adding length and tension. This precise balance is what makes this Sauvignon so distinctive and clearly sets it apart from many classic examples of the variety.
