The winery is located in Toro, one of the most unspoilt and exciting wine regions in Spain. A landscape with endless expanses, hot summers, cold winters and barren soils. Not an easy place to grow wine - but that is precisely why wines with personality and depth are produced here. Nature sets the pace, not trends or fast fashions.

The estate became known for its uncompromising focus on ancient vineyards, many of which are ungrafted and some of which are impressively old. These valuable vineyards are a true cultural asset of the region and make Numanthia one of the most important ambassadors of Toro worldwide.

Today, the winery belongs to LVMH and combines traditional origins with a modern approach to quality. Despite its international reputation, the core has remained unchanged: Respect for the land, patience in the cellar and the ambition to get the best out of this special region year after year.
