This wonderful and classic Grüner Veltliner Federspiel hails from the Kaiserberg vineyard. The vineyard, with a gradient of up to 73%, is located right next to the Dürnstein ruins. The many hours of sunshine, stony soils, and steep terraces make it perfect for cultivating our Grüner Veltliner.
This is exactly how a high-quality Grüner Veltliner should taste: dry, fine, and delicately spicy with light hints of herbs and yellow fruit. The well-supported acidity immediately whets the appetite for a second sip, showcasing both greatness and elegance without being ostentatious. The typical Veltliner flavour, with light citrus notes, is recognizable on the finish, which lingers pleasantly.
