This is what a medium-bodied Riesling from the Wachau should taste like!

The grapes for this wine are from the westernmost tip of the Wachau in the Spitzer Graben and grown on steep slopes near the Danube. This typical Riesling gets its complexity from the cool nights and warm days.

Classically fermented in steel tanks, this king of white wines is showing its best side. The scent is very fresh, delicately reminiscent of vineyard peach and apricot, with a hint of dark aromatics. It's fresh and fruity on the palate, with the distinctive Wachau minerality. Very juicy, good, strong structure. Every sip is stimulating and accessible to the benevolent finish with a prominent note of stone fruit.

A super Federspiel that can do much more than being an entry-level wine.
